This additional space makes it easier to sew multilayer projects, so there is no more struggling to fit thick fabrics like denim and fleece under your presser foot. You can raise the presser foot about 6mm (1/4˝) higher than the normal up position by exerting more pressure when lifting the presser foot or knee lifter. It also allows for easy changes of the needle plates.

Favorite Stitch Adjustment
You can save customized stitch settings (stitch length, stitch width, thread tension, and presser foot pressure, depending on the selected stitch patterns) as "Favorite Stitch Adjustment". When the favorite stitch adjustment option is turned on, the last-used customized stitch settings are automatically assigned when the stitch pattern is selected. Please note the favorite stitch option cannot be used on created stitches or in monogram mode.
NEEDLE PLATES
No more screws or tools! The One Step Plate Converter allows for easy conversion between plates! Slide the extension table out, push the lever to release the plate, and snap a new one in place; it's as easy as that. The MC9410QC includes two needle plates: the standard zig-zag and a straight stitch plate. The Professional ¼" Needle Plate is also available as an optional accessory. Sewists constantly strive for perfection in their sewing, even as they tackle various fabric types and styles, so with easy conversion and multiple plate options, you can more readily achieve the desired results.
Built-in Bobbin Winder
The MC9410QC has a built-in bobbin winder that makes refilling your bobbins a breeze. You can keep multiple bobbins on hand, so you have the perfect thread color for every project! Plus, you never have to worry about overfilling your bobbin; the machine automatically stops when it detects that it is full. The machine even has a bobbin thread sensor that lets you know when your bobbin is almost empty.
CONVENIENT CONTROLS
The Janome MC9410QC comes with seven one-touch buttons that are perfectly placed for effortless access. Featured on the MC9450QCP are an Auto Needle Up/Down, Locking Stitch Button, Speed Control Slider, Start/Stop Button, Easy Reverse Button, Automatic Thread Cutter, and Auto Presser Foot Lift. The Auto Presser Foot Lift is a unique feature on the MC9410QC; the presser foot automatically lifts after the thread is cut, allowing you to keep your hands on your project at all times. This feature can be set to raise at the end of any seam, with the needle in the down position for easy pivoting.
STITCH COMPOSER PROGRAM
The Janome Stitch Composer software allows you to create your own unique sewing stitches right on your computer screen. Once the stitches have been created, they are exported with a USB stick to be sewn out on the Memory Craft 9410QC. The stitches are easy to make using intuitive software and can be built from imported images, or you can let your imagination run wild and create stitches from scratch. The Stitch Composer software is included with the MC9410QC and enables you to create unique original stitches or modify existing ones.

Janome's Horizon Memory Craft 9410QC has 91 needle positions. These different positions allow for more detail in decorative stitches and stunning fine adjustments in all stitch creations. And with the 9mm stitch width, this sort of bold detail can be easily appreciated.
Standby Time & Auto-off
This machine features two power-saving features: standby mode and auto-off. The standby timer will turn off the lights and put the machine in sleep mode if it's not used within a certain amount of time. The standby timer can be set from 1 to 30 minutes, and starting any operation will turn the lights and screen on again. Auto-off will shut your machine down if it's not used within a specific time period. The auto-off can be set from 1 to 12 hours. Both of these timers can be disengaged if you don't need/want them.
LED Lighting
Janome has equipped the MC9410 with a full-intensity lighting system. Bright LED lamps are strategically placed in multiple locations to ensure proper lighting in your workspace. The sewing lights can be turned on or off individually. Even the function buttons are backlighted, making them easy to find and use.
EXTRA-HIGH PRESSER FOOT LIFT
When you need extra space to sew thicker fabrics, Janome's MC9410QC has you covered. It features an extra-high presser foot lift. This additional space makes it easier to sew multilayer projects, so there is no more struggling to fit thick fabrics like denim and fleece under your presser foot. You can raise the presser foot about 7mm (1/4") higher than the normal up position by exerting more pressure when lifting the presser foot or knee lifter. It also allows for easy changes of the needle plates.
ACUFEED FLEX SYSTEM (Optional)
The AcuFeed Flex System is ideal for quilting, seaming, and traditional sewing. The system consists of single and twin dual-feed attachments that are used with four different types of feet to guide layers of fabric through your machine evenly. The different feet used with the AcuFeed Flex System are the Single Feed Foot (VD), the Single Feed Zipper Foot (ED), the Twin Dual Feed Foot (AD), and the Twin Quilt Piecing Foot (OD).
