Janome is proud to introduce its next-generation combination sewing and embroidery machine, the Continental M17 Professional. They have merged some of the top features of their most popular machines to maximize your creative potential. The CM17 has the largest sewing area (13.5" x 5.5") in the industry, matched with the largest embroidery space (11.3" x 18.2"). It comes standard with 13 one-step buttonholes, automatic thread tension, 850 built-in stitches, the AcuStitch Regulator, two LCD touchscreens, PC software, a knee lifter, and so much more than can be listed. The dual LCD color touch screens make stitch changes and embroidery easy and enjoyable. Janome has also introduced new features into the Continental M17, like the Thumbwheel function, which allows you to control the needle position delicately to finish intricate sewing projects.
The CM17 has over 1,200 built-in embroidery designs and has the industry's largest embroidery hoop area, so it opens up a whole new world of design capabilities. The machine comes with five embroidery hoops to use with the built-in programs. Everything from monogramming to sashiko can be stitched on this machine. AcuStitch Regulator (A.S.R.)
A Janome first! The new stitch regulation system comes standard with the CM17 and includes four feet: closed-toe, open-toe, clear view, and the exclusive Ruler Work foot so that all of your free-motion needs are covered. With the added benefit of being able to set the sensitivity of the sensor, you can adjust the regulation as your skills develop.
AcuFeed Flex Fabric Plus
Janome's AcuFeed Layered Fabric Feeding System has long been legendary in the sewing and quilting world for its exceptional precision and power. They've taken it to the next level with AcuFeed Flex Plus. The system is still removable, but adding and removing it from the machine has become more advanced, adding another layer of reliability and control. After attaching the AcuFeed foot, touch the AcuFeed icon on your screen to engage or disengage the dedicated motor explicitly designed for this feature!
Dual LCD Screens
Fine-tune stitches and functions while keeping your hands close to the needle. The large main screen is simple and easy to navigate, with the look of a smart device, with icons and category selection scroll bars; plus, you can edit, design, and create. Then, when you're ready to sew or embroider, the second screen will allow you to fine-tune your stitches, tension, foot pressure, and more! The large screen measures 5.3" by 8.5" while the smaller screen measures 3.8" by 2.1".

Extra-Large Embroidery Field
Our largest hoops and embroidery area ever! Our RE46d Hoop offers 11.3” x 18.2” of the embroidery area. Created with Carbon fiber-infused plastic, this large hoop is 10X stronger than metal! No other machine can offer such a large area and guarantee the stability and precision of Janome embroidery, even when embroidering at speeds up to 1200spm. Four included hoops have been created with a new easy-to-hoop lever system and hoop size detection.
Embroidery Positioning Marker
Using the newest embroidery foot from Janome, the laser aligning feature can show the position of your needle on the fabric below. Large Workspace
The seamless, heavy-duty powder-coated, all-metal flatbed offers an uninterrupted, large sewing area with 13.5 inches (343mm) to the right of the needle. With a 5.51-inch (140mm) workspace height and 3.15" of space above the needle plate, you'll complete any sewing project with ease.
Automatic Built-in Needle Threader
Threading couldn't be easier! Load your thread into the easily viewable guides, push the threader button, release it, and your needle is threaded. This time-saving feature allows you to get sewing faster. Its advanced design feeds the thread through the eye of the needle with precise accuracy every time.
Optical Bobbin Sensor
Janome's advanced Optical Bobbin Monitoring System is for everyone who has sewn a long seam only to find that your bobbin thread ran out after the first few inches. Janome Technology allows the M17 to constantly watch your bobbin thread supply while sewing so that you will receive a warning as soon as the bobbin thread gets low, not when it's too late at the end of your seam. It is sometimes difficult to track how much bobbin thread is left when embroidering or sewing large projects. The bobbin thread sensor alerts you when your bobbin thread is running low, so you're never caught in the middle of a seam or embroidery color.
One-Touch Buttons
Equipped with convenient one-touch buttons, you will find the following options along the front of the machine: needle up/down, automatic thread cutter, lock stitch, start/stop, speed control slider, reverse stitch, presser foot lift, and a needle threader. With these buttons, you can raise or lower the needle, prevent your stitches from coming undone, use them in place of a foot control, and much more.
850 Built-in Stitches
The Continental M17 includes an amazing array of built-in stitches and embroidery designs. You'll find 850 built-in stitches, including 13 different styles of buttonholes (and with Stitch Composer, your stitch count is infinite). All these stitches are arranged in 17 categories so they are easier to find: applique, cross-stitch, heirloom, quilting, quilt Style, satin, bridge, decorative, botanical, long, animals, lifestyle, kids, seasons, words, mirage, created. Three fonts provide variety for decorative stitch monogramming.
Variable Zigzag
The Continental M17 includes an excellent tool for creativity: Variable Zig Zag. This feature enables precision control over the stitch width via the knee lift. Begin with a straight stitch; then, press against the knee lifter to widen your stitch to a 9mm zig-zag while the machine is still running. Release pressure to return to a straight stitch for a tapered finish gradually. Don't want a 9mm stitch? You can easily control the maximum width of the stitch setting in the machine set mode. This advanced control opens incredible new possibilities for creative expression with free-motion quilting, thread painting, raw edge applique, free-motion monogramming, and more.
9 Ultra-Bright LEDs
The CM17 features nine ultra-bright LED lights in four locations to illuminate the bed of the machine, providing a dazzling work area. For even more focus, the machine includes three special magnifying glasses at three levels of magnification that attach directly to the faceplate. They slide into place for extra visibility and store out of your way when not in use. This system reduces eye strain and allows you to sew for hours in comfort!

Independent Bobbin Winding Motor
With an independent bobbin motor, there is no need to stop your sewing or unthread your machine. Set up your bobbin, push the Bobbin Winding button, and keep sewing your seams while the machine simultaneously winds your bobbin. This is a great timing-saving feature!
Floating Mode
While in floating mode, the Continental M17 will not extend full pressure to the presser foot while feeding fabric. This will protect delicate or high-pile fabrics like velvet.
Ergonomic Knee Lifter
The knee lift has been designed to make it ergonomic and adjustable to accommodate almost any size or height sewists. You can now sit directly in front of the needle with the knee lift perfectly positioned for free-motion quilting, variable zig-zag, or general sewing. It can be inserted directly into the machine base or the embroidery unit if it is used as an expanded sewing machine table.

Drop Feed

Using the App's QR scanner feature, the AcuSpark2 App will provide instructions, tips, inspiring new ideas, and how-to videos corresponding to the information displayed on the M8's screen for any setting or stitch selection. AcuSpark2's content can also be accessed without a sewing machine. Apple and Android users can access the app, but Apple users need iOS 10.0 or later, while Android users need 5.0 and up.

The superior needle threader's advanced design feeds your thread through the eye of the needle with precise accuracy every time. This innovation allows for precise threading in a few easy steps, allowing you to go right to sewing. Also, it doesn't strain your eyes! Please note the needle threader cannot be used with the twin needle.
Favorite Stitch Adjustment
You can save customized stitch settings (stitch length, stitch width, thread tension, and presser foot pressure, depending on the selected stitch patterns) as "Favorite Stitch Adjustment". When the favorite stitch adjustment option is turned on, the last-used customized stitch settings are automatically assigned when the stitch pattern is selected. Please note the favorite stitch option cannot be used on created stitches or in monogram mode.
NEEDLE PLATES
No more screws or tools! The One Step Plate Converter allows for easy conversion between plates! Slide the extension table out, push the lever to release the plate, and snap a new one in place; it's as easy as that. The MC9480QCP includes three needle plates: the standard zigzag, a straight stitch plate, and the professional HP needle plate. Sewists constantly strive for perfection in their sewing, even as they tackle various fabric types and styles, so with easy conversion and multiple plate options, you can more readily achieve the desired results.
Built-in Bobbin Winder
The MC9480QCP has a built-in bobbin winder that makes refilling your bobbins a breeze. You can keep multiple bobbins on hand, so you have the perfect thread color for every project! Plus, you never have to worry about overfilling your bobbin; the machine automatically stops when it detects that it is full. The machine even has a bobbin thread sensor that lets you know when your bobbin is almost empty.
A.S.R. (Accurate Stitch Regulator)
The Janome A.S.R. (Accurate Stitch Regulator) system is an optional accessory that includes four feet: Closed-toe, open-toe, clear view, and the exclusive Ruler Work Foot so that all of your free-motion needs are covered. STITCH COMPOSER PROGRAM
The Janome Stitch Composer software allows you to create your own unique sewing stitches right on your computer screen. Once the stitches have been created, they are exported with a USB stick to be sewn out on the Memory Craft 9480QCP. The stitches are easy to make using intuitive software and can be built from imported images, or you can let your imagination run wild and create stitches from scratch. The Stitch Composer software is included with the MC9480QCP and enables you to create unique original stitches or modify existing ones.

Standby Time & Auto-off
This machine features two power-saving features: standby mode and auto-off. The standby timer will turn off the lights and put the machine in sleep mode if it's not used within a certain amount of time. The standby timer can be set from 1 to 30 minutes, and starting any operation will turn the lights and screen on again. Auto-off will shut your machine down if it's not used within a specific time period. The auto-off can be set from 1 to 12 hours. Both of these timers can be disengaged if you don't need/want them.
LED Lighting & High Light
Janome has equipped the MC8410 with a full-intensity lighting system. Bright LED lamps are strategically placed in multiple locations to ensure proper lighting in your workspace. The sewing lights can be turned on or off individually. Even the function buttons are backlighted, making them easy to find and use.
EXTRA-HIGH PRESSER FOOT LIFT

Stitches
The 3000P is a three-needle, five-thread model. You will enjoy beautiful bindings and pristine hems, all in one pass, on the CoverPro 3000P. Stitch options include chain stitch, two-thread cover stitch narrow, three-thread cover stitch, two-needle top cover stitch, and a three-needle top cover stitch.
Built-in Top Cover Stitch Guide
The built-in stitch guide easily swings into place, providing you with a triple or double top cover stitch that will bring your finishes to the professional level. Using one finger, simply push down on the top cover stitch guide, and the spreader will move into position. When finished, simply press the lever to retract and store away.
3-Position Needle Threader
Whether you are using one, two, or all three needles, Janome's advanced needle thread makes it quick and easy. Select the needle for threading by simply sliding the needle threader switch lever to R/M/L (right needle, middle needle, left needle), then push down on the needle threader lever and thread the needle.
Foot Pressure Adjustment
Accommodate a variety of fabric types and thicknesses by adjusting the pressure of the foot. Add more pressure to thinner fabrics and less pressure to thicker fabrics to achieve professional results.
Enhanced Tension Control
The new Fine Mode Switching Mechanism has enhanced the Tension Level Control (TLC). Switching from heavy to sheer knits and fabrics only takes the flip of a switch, changing the timing and the stroke range of the take-up lever, which softens the needle thread tension. Free Arm
