This foot is designed specifically for ruler work: you will have more visibility with the V-shaped front, while markings on the foot will help sewers find the center point. The 1/4" cup height moves smoothly alongside the quilting ruler without allowing the ruler to slide over or under. With this foot, the needle drops a 1/4" away from the ruler to create the quilting line. Please note this foot is to be used with 7mm width low shank top-loading models. It's also recommended that you use a straight stitch needle plate for better results.

The open toe on this AcuFeed Flex Foot allows a better view of the sewing in progress. This foot can be used for quilting, monogramming, applique, and cutwork. It is especially useful when quilting a decorative stitch because of the open toe around the needle.

By replacing snap-on bobbin cover with Pintuck Cord Guides, a corded pintuck can be made quickly.  The Janome cord guide is attached in place of the clear plastic bobbin cover to feed perle cotton or other cord as you sew for easier corded pintucks. Two guides are included in the set: one for cord up to 1.5 mm in diameter and one for cord 1.5 - 2.5 mm in diameter.

The Janome Quilting Guides are both compatible with all current even feed feet which have a slot at the back cover. Because of this Janome has also introduced these guides as an individual set for those who already have an even feed foot and just want the added benefit of these guides.
