Stitch Capabilities
Finish garments using 4-thread seaming and 3-thread narrow or wide overlocking, narrow rolled hem, flatlock, and blind hemming. With so many stitches to choose from, your MyLock serger can finish any garment or home decor item.
Easy Breezy Threading
As opposed to traditional sergers that use tension dials, the MyLock 634D uses an easy-to-thread lay-in style tension. Simply feed your thread into the color-coded channels rather than wrapping it around a dial—no springs to catch, no headaches to be had!
The machine has a diagram printed behind the face cover to guide you from step to step as you master the threading process.
Keep clean & Serge On
Keep your workspace tidy using the attachable waste bin. As you serge, your seam allowance trimmings will feed into the container. Empty when full or when you finish using the machine. If you're working with a lot of fabric, you can use a universal Serger Scrap Catcher as a rubbish bin to collect excess scraps for the duration of your project. No more making multiple trips to the trash can (not included).
Accessible Components
The 634D provides access to the mechanical components of your machine, allowing you to adjust settings and perform maintenance without the headache of having to unscrew the faceplate or squeeze in with specialized tools that fit between the nooks and crannies. The ease of access makes it much easier to regularly dust, clean, and oil your machine and, therefore, maximize its lifespan!
SIMPLIFIED ROLLED HEM CONVERSION
Convert to a rolled hem without hassle by using the easily accessible knife-disengaging knob and sitch finger switch. You'll never have to change your needle plate or remove the stitch finger yourself—meaning you won't have to worry about losing it. A pre-tension slider located on the right side of the faceplate can be used to quickly adjust the tension from "Standard" to "Rolled Hem", taking the think work out of setting your machine up to work on hems.
