Free Arm & Storage
Remove the auxiliary bed to access the machine's free arm. This narrow arm is perfect for hemming pant legs, shirt sleeves, and other cylindrical projects. Inside the auxiliary bed is a storage compartment. Use these spaces to store extra bobbins, presser feet, and small hand tools. There's even a storage space for two presser feet on top of the machine by the bobbin winder.

Extra-High Presser Foot Lift
When you need extra space to sew thicker fabrics, Elna's eXcellence 780+ has you covered. It features an extra-high presser foot lift. This additional space makes it easier to sew multilayer projects, so there is no more struggling to fit thick fabrics like denim and fleece under your presser foot. You can raise the presser foot about 7mm (1/4˝) higher than the normal up position by exerting more pressure when lifting the presser foot.
350 Built-In Stitches
With 350 built-in stitches to choose from, you will never run out of unique stitch combinations. The on-board stitch chart shows all included stitches and their reference numbers, making it easy for you to select your desired stitch. Among the 350 included stitches are 23 utility, 18 buttonhole options, 20 applique, 40 heirloom, 74 quilt, 24 satin, 79 decorative, 8 bridge, 20 long, 34 pictographs, and 10 play. Several of these stitches can be flipped and mirror-imaged! In addition to these sewing stitches, there are three alphabets/fonts, including upper and lower case, numbers, symbols, accents, and punctuations.
