Extra-High Presser Foot Lift
When you need extra space to sew thicker fabrics, Elna's eXcellence 782 has you covered. It features an extra-high presser foot lift. This additional space makes it easier to sew multilayer projects, so there is no more struggling to fit thick fabrics like denim and fleece under your presser foot. You can raise the presser foot about 6mm (1/4˝) higher than the normal up position by exerting more pressure when lifting the presser foot.
Drop Feed
Elna's eXcellence 782 has a built-in lever that, when pressed, automatically lowers the feed dogs so you can quickly switch to free-motion quilting.
Knee Lifter
Using the knee lifter, you can raise and lower the presser foot with your knee, leaving both hands free to handle the fabric.
Drop-in Bobbin
Bobbin changes are effortless with the quick-set drop-in bobbin. Drop your bobbin in the machine, pull your threads through the slot, and let your 782 do the rest.
Buttonhole Foot
This machine includes an automatic buttonhole foot with a stabilizer plate as well as a button sewing foot so you can easily sew any of the 11 one-step buttonholes your machine offers.

9 LED Lights | 1 Retractable Light

A retractable Light is located on the head of the machine. Pull it out to engage the high light, and when you are finished, slide it shut to disengage.

The Stitch Composer software is included with the eXcellence 780+ and enables you to create unique original stitches or modify existing ones. Using the built-in USB port, you can easily transfer them to the machine.
Free Arm | Onboard Storage
Remove the extension table to access the machine's free arm. This narrow arm protrudes almost 6" left of the needle, perfect for hemming pant legs, shirt sleeves, and other cylindrical projects. Inside the extension table are two storage compartments. Use these spaces to store extra bobbins, presser feet, and small hand tools. There's even an additional storage space for presser feet on top of the machine by the bobbin winder.
Accurate Stitch Regulator (A.S.R.)
The Accurate Stitch Regulator comes as a standard accessory with the 782, including four presser feet encompassing an array of free-motion techniques and ruler work. This ingenious system adjusts to the speed of the fabric's movement, making free-motion stitching and quilting effortless.
