One-Step Needle Plate Conversion

Drop Feed
Elna's eXcellence 790PRO has an on-screen key, when pressed, automatically lowers the feed dogs so you can quickly switch to free motion quilting.
Knee Lifter
Using the knee lifter, you can raise and lower the presser foot with your knee, leaving both hands free to handle the fabric.
Drop-in Bobbin
Bobbin changes are effortless with the quick-set drop-in bobbin. Drop your bobbin in the machine, pull your threads through the slot, and let your 790PRO do the rest.
Buttonhole Foot
This machine includes an automatic buttonhole foot with a stabilizer plate as well as a button sewing foot so you can easily sew any of the 12 one-step buttonholes your machine offers.
91 Needle Positions

Extra-High Presser Foot Lift
When you need extra space to sew thicker fabrics, Elna's eXcellence 790PRO has you covered. It features an extra-high presser foot lift. This additional space makes it easier to sew multilayer projects, so there is no more struggling to fit thick fabrics like denim and fleece under your presser foot. You can raise the presser foot about 6mm (1/4˝) higher than the normal up position by exerting more pressure when lifting the presser foot.
Dual Feed & Dual Feed Plus System
Elna's Dual Feed Plus System is used to move the top layer of fabric in tandem with the lower layer. This system is ideal for sewing thinner fabrics like knit, jersey, vinyl cloth, or pleather that have a tendency to shift.
