16 Built-in Stitches
With 16 stitches to choose from, Elna's em16 offers some of the most commonly used stitch patterns that you might need. Zigzag, utility, overcasting, and straight stitches can all be found on this machine. Also included is a four-step buttonhole that allows you to sew the perfect-sized button every time without any hassle.
MANUAL STITCH TENSION, WIDTH, AND LENGTH
Along the front of the machine are three dials that enable you to control your tension, stitch width, and stitch length. These dials are easily adjusted to create perfectly balanced stitches based on your fabric type and weight.
REVERSE BUTTON
Use the reverse stitch button to secure your stitches. This feature is excellent at preventing your ends from fraying or unraveling. Hold down the reverse stitch lever to use this button, and your machine will automatically sew in reverse. Located inside the bed of the machine is a convenient storage compartment! You can keep presser feet, seam rippers, thread, and tools in this storage area. This storage space makes it easier to carry your notions to classes and guild meetings!
BUILT-IN BOBBIN WINDER
The em16 comes with a built-in bobbin winder that makes sewing a snap. You can keep multiple bobbins on hand, so you have the perfect color for every project. Push the bobbin winder to the appropriate spot, where it then locks in, and then use your foot control to wind the bobbin. When the bobbin is full, pull the bobbin off, and it's ready to go.
Drop Feed
The Elnita em16 has a built-in lever that, when switched, automatically lowers the feed dogs so you can quickly switch to free-motion quilting.
